I've been training for endurance events for a few years now. Mostly around half ironman triathlons and have found it really conflicting to hear people argue literal opposites about what's the best way to fuel your body.
Personally, as someone who is studying nutrition, it's hard to look past the "evidence" that carbohydrates reign supreme but then I also agree that training your body to use fat for fuel is equally powerful as I've experienced first hand, albeit not for an endurance event.
I've had ketone esters suggested but wonder if anyone has ever tried them?
Heard of ketones but got no idea what they are. Had an auntie ester but she's long passed.
